our newest addition!

My heart is overflowing as I am announcing the birth of Declan Patrick, our 7 lb, 14 oz, 21.5 in, sweet and snuggly little boy. He's perfect! He was born at 1:56pm on May 5th - a little Cinco de Mayo baby! (Totally already been Pinteresting cute non-cheesy themed birthday parties.)

The first thing Harlee did when we brought her to the hospital to see her little brother is "pat" him nice and hard on the face, then kissed him. Harlee (keep in mind she's 14 months) does this adorable kissing sound {think "mmm-mmaaa" - a smooch without the actual smooch sound} that is full of heart. So basically, she told him who was boss, then that she loved him.

We've been home with him for a few days now, and we are learning to be a family of four - it's going to be quite a journey!
