weeks 19-20
Start freak out. ***HOLY MOLY I AM HALFWAY THERE. THERE ARE
ONLY 20 WEEKS TO GO. THAT’S LIKE, ALL THE TIME I JUST HAD, YOU KNOW, THAT TIME
THAT JUST WENT BY SUPER QUICK. *** end freak out.
The hubs and I all dressed up for FAU Rugby Alumni Dinner, week 19.
Feeling:
her kicking!! Mostly at night while I am lying in bed right before I fall
asleep, but also at work while I’m sitting at my desk at that time in the afternoon where I feel like taking a nap.
It’s so neat, feeling your baby swimming around inside of you. I wonder what
she’s doing in there. Patrick felt her for the first time on Monday after she
woke up while he was installing the electrical junction box for our kitchen,
something about the noise of the saw blade through the truss must have gotten
her excited (definitely my daughter).
Feeling overwhelmed... with all these house projects we've started, they have a timeline. It's somehow like if I don't just stay up a little longer, finish vacuuming up another project mess, clean one more dish, or spend a few more minutes weeding the mulch around the hibiscus that she's going to get here and I won't be ready. Never mind the fact that I don't have a single diaper, bottle, crib sheet, or that her room hasn't even been started. Maybe time to start a registry?

Not
feeling: Feeling pretty good, actually. Overall, no complaints.
Weight Gain: 7 lbs at our 20 week checkup.
Projects:
Kitchen remodel (oops). Definitely didn’t finish the trim in the guest bathroom or the
guest bedroom. Or paint the master bedroom like we wanted to. #bordnerstyle
Planning:
no planning, just doing.
Best
thing this week: Feeling her move around so much. It’s like she’s trying to
make me remember that I’m going to be a mom in 20 weeks.
Best thing #2: The ultrasound! She's just perfect. It's like we visited her little world for a few minutes, watching her be all happy and move around.
Workouts: i.hate.pullups. I don't normally hate pull ups, I actually like them. However, add an extra 7 lbs on you, then try to do a pull up.
