If I only had a house

Or could sell our home in Panama City, because I found two studly pieces of furniture that definitely would have come home with me, had we a place to put them.

I had to do a little google searching to figure out what type of furniture this is - campaign furniture. With those brass handles that just call my name. Painted a fun color, a $45 thrift store drexel night stand could have been so totally handsome.

source. That Emily Henderson, she's a genius.

I LOVE this room. Something about the mix of prints and color. And the campaign nightstand, of course.

This is the one I found for $45 at our local Habitat for Humanity in Tequesta. It has round knobs, but if you look closely at my crappy thrift store picture, you can see the brass tetris shapes on the sides.

I think it would be fun painted green.

Or purple.

This was the other love-at-first-sight piece that I couldn't take home. Solid wood, marked down to $35. His little brass shoes are just oh-so cute. I probably would have painted him white.

With a quick search, I couldn't find anything exact, but a white and brass combo looks about perfect to me.

Or this one.

Until we get a house, I'll probably keep posting about awesome furniture finds that I can't buy... but maybe by the time we actually buy a home, I'll know exactly what I want. (Or most likely not, but Patrick would appreciate a smaller number of iterations than in our Panama City house, haha.)
