Tequesta House Home Tour
I'm so excited to [finally] share these images with you -
really managed to capture the heart of our home in between crazy children and me running around like a mad woman trying to finish up the "styling" before the littles littered it with toys again. Seriously though, my house looked like this for like, 5 minutes, but it was a glorious 5 minutes. Typically, I try to have one room that just shines, and do that everyday, so at least one room in the house is a place of peace.
The camper is a bit easier to keep up, so we're totally enjoying the freedom that provides us! In the meantime, I'll reminisce about the house and I'm thinking that when we get home, we'll either all live in the living room together, or I'll be ready to buy the house next door, knock them both down, and build a mansion.
I'm adding in some of the sources of where I got my stuff, mainly to show you guys that I rarely buy anything for my house that's new (#thanksmom).
entry way

master bathroom
this bathroom is tiny, and has the only tub in the house, so on a typical day we have 4 people in this bathroom at the same time. I took it out, but there used to be a great print in here that said "marriage is two people in love sharing the same bathroom," because I'm a total freak about being in the same tiny space brushing my teeth and all of a sudden Patrick comes in and wants to brush his teeth too - drives me nuts, so it was a good reminder ;) There are big plans to [eventually] knock the bathroom into the closet and expand our closet into the formal living room where the bar setup currently is, but for now, this works for us! We recently replaced the vanity, light, sink, and faucet, and Patrick made the vanity top. Loving our little upgrade!
family room
couch: craigslist, another scan design and probably my favorite thing in the house besides the sailor man painting.
Picasso print: thrifted
light: ikea
Harlee's bedroom
We recently moved the queen bed into her room because it made more sense for renting it out, but before we left, she totally enjoyed having this "big bed" in her room and thought she was such a big girl for it! The bed frame and dresser are both thrifted, the rocking chair was from my aunt and I got it recovered, curtains are from Ikea, and blinds from overstock.
crib: ikea. $70.... couldn't beat it.
pillowcases: urban outfitters
rug: thrifted

countertops: hubby made them (@patryandesigns on instagram)

i want to re-do this patio so bad... but it's going to take a lot of effort to do so! in the meantime, we've cleaned it up and are embracing the "florida" feel the chattahoochee brings to light.... patio table from world market and pillows thrifted.
Declan's room
