week 26
Feeling: excited! I am so ready to start on her nursery (well, and finish our growing list of things we have to finish around here).
Not feeling: People, I almost have an outie. And headaches. these things keep coming back to haunt me. And sleep. It seems to keep evading me.
Weight Gain: 10.8 lbs at our 24 week checkup. Does this end...?
Projects: Took out the beautiful (read: super fugly) wallpaper in the master bathroom. While we don't have the time to knock out our entire bathroom and closet like we want to, we wanted to have that wallpaper gone to at least enjoy some non-ugly wallpaper bathroom time. Now it's just ugly shell sink and ugly tile, and an old tub that is a daily fight to keep clean.
And although this technically strays into week 27 as of Sunday, we went to Ikea on Sunday, attempting to knock out a huge chunker of a list. Of the items on our list, the main things we went there for were out of stock (womp, womp). We had planned on getting our butcher block countertops, some light-blocking shades for the nursery, two lights for our bedroom, and a couple other random baby-prepping things, and were SOL. However, in the typical way Ikea sucks you in, we did manage to find the stuff on the other half of our list and then some. Now I just have to find another way to get some countertops.

Planning: Ever heard of a fauxdenza?
Best thing this week: Just being with my hubby. Spending some time at the beach with the dogs. A friend's wedding in Islamorada. Cuban coffee and pastelitos from the Sunrise Cuban Cafe in Islamorada with some good friends.
Workouts: My friend Faydra got me a sweet new workout shirt. Definitely going to rock it. (Because sometimes, clothes are more fun than the workout...)
